Tailgate Box Truck Driver

(Class 4/ 5 Licence)

Responsibilities:

  • Driving tailgate box truck and handling jobs in accordance with the schedule and in a safe, professional and timely manner.
  • Filling in service/ delivery order forms as per request.
  • Performing and recording daily checks.
  • Performing and recording minor maintenance tasks such as greasing, fluid top-ups, etc.
  • Washing the truck and cleaning the interior.
  • Labouring work as required to complete waste disposal jobs.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Class 4/ 5 driving licence is a must.
  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years of heavy-moving truck and driving experience.
  • Have experience driving trucks with a manual transmission.
  • Experience driving a tailgate box truck is an advantage.
  • Have a professional attitude towards truck driving.
  • Have a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Be reliable, punctual and motivated with a strong work ethic.

This position is on a 6 days work week and allowances are included in the salary package.
